Keeping the bromance alive, Big Bang’s G-Dragon will be heading to the white basement for MBC every1’s Weekly Idol.
On October 30, Weekly Idol’s official Twitter told fans to start sending in questions for G-Dragon, confirming the singer’s long-awaited appearance on the show.
G-Dragon’s appearance was made possible due to G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don’s continuously blossoming bromance, after the two were partnered up for MBC’s Infinity Challenge. The two created a song together, which will be revealed on November 2.
G-Dragon will be the first YG artist to appear on the show.
The hard-to-get couple’s episode will air sometime in November.

Finally! The News we have all been waiting for. As fans know, Big Bang is just about due for a new release as a group, but the question is when will it be coming?
It was rumored earlier that the boys would have returned about now, but we're still in the midst of waiting for a solo album from Taeyang as well as a solo release from T.O.P that is rumored for mid-November.
Since the boys will be kicking off their Japan tour mid November, it was expected that they'll have new songs to present to their fans by then. So with questions rising and fans' patience wearing thin, a rep from the agency revealed that there is indeed a new song coming within this year.
The rep commented, "Ahead of Big Bang's 6 dome tour in Japan, the members plan to work on a new song... A comeback date hasn't been confirmed yet. But within this year, it's expected that they'll be releasing a new song."
In addition, according to various insiders, the boys are already said to be in the midst of preparing for the song and will be following up with it after T.O.P's solo comeback, further raising fans' hopes that the release isn't far off.

T.O.P naturally has a very seductive look as you can see in the above picture, but it appears it is no longer working on 'The Commitment' co-star Kim Yoo Jung who recently revealed to him that he is no longer her ideal type.
In an interview, T.O.P said, "When I received the scenario for 'The Commitment,' I thought Kim Yoo Jung would fit the part of the younger sister very well. I knew her because she came to Big Bang concerts since she was young.
I told the film company, 'If I did this with Kim Yoo Jung, I think we would express our feelings well together,' and recommended her. I thought it was better to do it with Kim Yoo Jung than a complete stranger . . . In the past, Kim Yoo Jung had continuously chosen me as her idea type, but yesterday, she told me firmly otherwise. She told me I'm not her ideal type anymore. She said, 'I don't have an ideal type.' I feel let down."
Well, most likely, T.O.P is still the ideal type for a lot of other women out there, so he doesn't have to feel down for too long!

With a second solo single coming up, Big Bang’s T.O.P talked about the concept of his new song.
On October 30, T.O.P briefly talked about the concept of his new song during an interview for his movie, The Commitment, at the West 19th in Samcheong-dong.
“There were a lot of things I wanted to express through music, so with this album, I personally created the music I wanted to express,” said T.O.P. “I’ll be rising to the stage with a self-composed song.”
On the new song, he said, “I wanted the explanation for music to be refreshing. I think it’s very strange, yet very humorous. It’s kind of a combative concept, but I think it will be fun.”
T.O.P shared that he participated in the music video as well.
“Because the music I created is my interpretation of the song, I also gave ideas while making and participated in the directing of the music video,” said T.O.P. “The music video filming is already completed.”
T.O.P released his first single, Turn It Up in 2010.
“I’m not entirely sure exactly when my album will be out, but it’ll be released in November,” said T.O.P. “There’s a chance that I’ll be promoting side by side with Taeyang.”
Meanwhile, T.O.P is awaiting the premiere of his movie, The Commitment, which will be released on November 6. T.O.P is acting as Rie Myung Hoon, a North Korean teenager, who is forced to work as a spy to save his only sister.

“WIN” is still enjoying much popularity, even though the show has ended with Team A being selected as the “WINNER” at the final battle. The final battle of “WIN” has been creating sensation, topping real-time search word lists of many search engines and appearing on SNSs and different web-sites.
Notably, “WIN”’s digital album “FINAL BATTLE” which has total four songs including “Go UP” and “CLIMAX”, written by Team A and B respectively for the final battle, and two different versions of “JUST ANOTHER BOY” written by YG’s head producer Teddy and rewritten by Team A and B, has been receiving enthusiastic responses after it was released at noon on the 28, with the emotions, inspiration, and sincerity of all the “WIN” members well-expressed in the four songs. Even though “WIN” members have not debuted yet, the songs are ranked in top places not only in Korean music web-sites but also in foreign music charts, drawing keen attention.
In only one day from the release of digital album “FINAL BATTLE”, it topped iTunes album charts of five countries: Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam. Plus, “GO UP” of Team A has swept not only real-time charts but also daily charts, being ranked in the top ten places in daily charts of eight music-streaming sites in Korea: Naver Music, Daum Music, Bugs, Melon, Mnet.com, Olleh Music, Soribada, and Cyworld Music.
Meanwhile, the birth of “WINNER” is creating sensation overseas, too. Six major sports dailies of Japan made headlines about the birth of “WINNER”, and in China, each episode of “WIN” has recorded 1.2 million views on average and the final battle recorded as many as 2 million views on YOUKU, a video-streaming site which exclusively aired WIN in the country. Furthermore, fans around the world have been sending celebratory video messages to the “WINNER” on Youtube.
Yang Hyun Suk of YG Entertainment gladly agreed to G-Dragon’s appearance on “Weekly Idol.” He said, “I consented to G-Dragon’s appearance on ‘Weekly Idol’ in a heartbeat after he told me Jung Hyung Don asked him to be on the show.”
He stated, “Actually, no singers under YG have been on ‘Weekly Idol’. After hearing from G-Dragon that Jung Hyung Don asked him directly to appear on the show, I gave him the go.”
He displayed his affection for G-Dragon and his good impressions towards Jung Hyung Don. ”I am a fan of ‘Infinity Challenge,’ and I have been a fan of Jung Hyung Don since his ‘Gag Concert’ days. I was very pleased to hear he asked G-Dragon to appear as a guest on ‘Weekly Idol’,”
Accordingly, G-Dragon’s confirmation to appear on “Weekly Idol” is creating a buzz. It is gaining even more attention since Jung Hyung Don, one of the hosts of the show, was paired with G-Dragon in the “2013 Infinity Challenge Freedom Road Music Festival.” The two are gaining much popularity showing off their teamwork on “Infinity Challenge” as the push-and-pull couple and are expected to create a special chemistry on “Weekly Idol” as well. The two even shares couple rings.
Moreover, there are great expectations for G-Dragon to display a new side of himself as he has been demonstrating on variety shows.

He also revealed his thoughts about acting alongside the brother of fellow BIG BANG member Taeyang, Dong Hyun Bae. “Taeyang’s brother got quite a lot of screen time. Dong Hyun Bae was cast before I joined the cast of ‘The Alumni’. It was an amazing coincidence. It was more comfortable filming because of this. I felt happy meeting someone like a real hyung.”
